Mother of Pearl is also known as ānakarā in the Philippines. More fiction than fact, legends have surrounded the largest pearl, 6.38kg, ever discovered. It was said that a diver drowned retrieving the pearl in May 1934 in Palawan, Philippines. It is known as the Pearl of Allah or the Pearl of Lao-Tzu. This beautiful gray and purple ink with silver shimmer is evocative of the Philippines and its nickname as the Pearl of the Orient.This ink made exclusively for the Manila Pen Show 2019.
